Lovely Event Planning is built from unparalleled experience and passion.
Our core team grew up in the hospitality business to go on to work for some of the most successful organizations out there. We have a deep understanding of the industry and a different approach to event planning.
Our mission is to provide exceptional and personalized service tailored to you. Creating strong relationships is critical to us.
At Lovely, we champion attentiveness, communication and trust.
We’re never too busy for you and work hard to respond to your questions and needs as quickly as possible. Our lead planners only book one event per day, so all our focus and attention will be on you and your event.
Communication is key to building any strong relationship so with every client, we offer unlimited e-mails or calls for updates and advice starting the day you hire us.
Although we work hard to gain the full confidence of everyone we work with, we always put our client’s best interests first. It’s for this reason we do not take commissions from vendors or venues. We believe it’s critical to keeping our client’s best interests a priority and offering the very best options for you.
From a young age, I had a love for design and an amazing ability to organize. For as long as I can remember, every year I meticulously design Christmas dinner with a theme and color palette. Together with my mom, we put together a beautiful table-scape, including a handmade gift for each guest as well as a spread of delicious desserts and cookies. This tradition always stuck with me and inevitably, my passion for entertaining lead me to event planning.
I started my career as a preschool teacher, but realized I wasn’t able to leverage my creativity the way I wanted to. I decided to explore my options and attend pastry school, where I honed my creativity and learned to make delicious confections and beautiful cakes.
This new direction led me on a path to discover my passion for weddings and events, and eventually I became a Lead Event Planner with a Connecticut-based event planning company. I loved this role, as I was able to use both my creativity and my organization skills help make my client’s dreams a reality.
After working as a planner for several years, I joined the well-known team at Diana Gould LTD, a luxury event design company. During my five years as a Lead Event Designer, I worked directly with clients to help develop their vision and décor aesthetic, bringing their vision to life by offering an array of in-house design services from floral design, custom linens and furniture, lighting, graphic design and more!
I recently joined Lovely to come back event planning and to leverage my extensive knowledge of design as Creative Director and Lead Planner. I’m so excited to be a part of the team and I look forward to using my experience to create many more beautiful events!
Director, Catering & Events
My first job, as a teenager, was at a small town banquet facility. The Chef took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew. I was running small events for 50 guests or less by the time I was 17 years old.
Shortly thereafter I moved to New York City to major in musical theater, but my love of restaurants and events outshined my passion for theater. I found myself managing restaurants in midtown and decided that it would be the perfect time to perfect my craft.
I soon became one of the youngest female Captains at the three Michelin starred, four New York Times starred dining room, Jean-Georges. There I learned attention to detail, fine dining service, cuisine and wine from the best in the industry.
After five years at Jean-George’s I moved to Connecticut with my husband, who is also in the industry. There I launched an executive catering program for one of the world’s top hedge funds and eventually moved on to become the Group Sales Director at Tarry Lodge.
I currently sit as the Vice Chairman of Slow Food Metro North while working on top notch events with Kristen at Lovely Event Planning! My passion lies in creating perfect memories for our clients through food, beverage, service and ambiance.
Senior Events Manager
I first fell in love with the culture of the hospitality industry when I was introduced at a young age by my father, who at the time, was Head Chef at a local restaurant.
I knew I wanted to go into events, and throughout my college career I made a conscious effort to intern and take jobs in the industry. After I graduated in 2016, I officially began my journey in event planning at a luxury venue in Westchester County as Sales Coordinator and Bridal Attendant.
This is where I met Kristen. With her expertise in design and execution, she took me under her wing and taught me everything there was to know about event planning. I was quickly immersed into the business and in a short six months was promoted to Event Manager. As Event Manager, I refined my eye for detail and found my own rhythm. I have successfully planned and executed dozens of weddings, corporate and social events.
Now as Senior Event Manager at Lovely, I look forward to conquering new challenges in this next chapter and to continue to provide exquisite service to our Lovely clients.
